CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT MOVIE THIS IS?!?

alright, me and my grandfather are trying to figure out what movie this is and we don't know and it's got us drove nuts! it's sort of like erin brockovich, same theme almost, except it has to do with mines and some radioactive stuff. the people in the community live in a small town. My grandfather says that one of the actors ressembles alec baldwin but isn't alec baldwin. If anyone has any idea what this movie is, that'd be a great help!
