How do you know if you've got a good singing voice?

Unfortunately youtube might be the best solution....but just be prepared to hear anything....there is a chance people will say you suck and then there might be others that say they like it even if they don't so make sure you get a large enough sample before you hit up the american idol tryouts....BUT hopefully everyone will say they love your voice and mean it.
